Cerbair, a French-based Technofounders startup, has secured investment from Boundary Holding, a bridge investment fund focused on global AI technology-driven startups. With a previous seed investment of 500,000 and 1.5 million euros from VCs, the latest (undisclosed) bridge funding aims to serve as a foothold for Cerbair's next investment rounds. This funding will also support the expansion of Cerbair’s operations and bolster its business reach.
Cerbair leverages French-made radio frequency and optical technologies to provide Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) solutions, designed for use in protecting critical infrastructure. This investment comes at a time when Cerbair has been collaborating with AirMap to integrate UTM and Counter-UAS technologies, providing a comprehensive solution that enables air traffic tracking for all UAVs in airspace.
The terms of the investment were finalized after Rajat Khare, the founder of Boundary Holding, and Lucas Le Bell, CEO of Technofounders, met in the Paris office of Technofounders. Speaking about the dynamic work culture at Cerbair and Technofounders, Rajat Khare emphasized, “There’s unison of competent people, process, and technology in the Cerbair office, and we encourage such a fluid environment in the companies we invest in.”
By leveraging the network and resources available through Technofounders, Cerbair has been able to assess external investment opportunities. Over the past year, Boundary Holding, based in Luxembourg, has continued to make strategic investments in startups utilizing next-gen technologies, such as Germany-based railway analytics startup Konux, Singaporean facial recognition startup XRVision, and AI-based drone solution provider Asteria Aerospace.
In addition to Cerbair, Technofounders has supported several other technology-driven startups, including Digiez and Spinofrin. Through its investment vehicle, TF Participation, Technofounders has accelerated the financing of six other startups under its umbrella, empowering them before they approach traditional venture capital.
With Boundary Holding’s strategic investments and Technofounders' innovative ecosystem, startups like Cerbair continue to break new ground in their industries, driving progress in AI, tech, and infrastructure security.
